<DIV><FONT face=Verdana>Public Opinion Strategies conducted a poll on the recent campaign. The outcome, if you haven't heard, is promising, but we still need your help! </FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Verdana>Fifty-three percent of those surveyed say they want a new person in office, while 41 percent say they would probably vote for the Mayor, which is a sharp decline in the Mayor's approval rating of 58 percent last year. </FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Verdana>The poll also showed 64 percent of Marion County residents believe we are on the wrong track, with taxes and crime top concerns. And only 23 percent of voters say they will definitely vote for Peterson while 38 percent say they definitely will vote against him. </FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Verdana>This is all good news, but we still need to get the word out about the Ballard Team. This week we are on a mission to distribute yard signs. If you are interested in having a sign in your yard, request it now. Tell you friends, family and neighbors and let's start spreading the word about my vision for accountable government. </FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Verdana>Several individuals are signing-up to become Ballard Captains in their neighborhoods. Becoming a Ballard Captain will help keep your neighbors involved in the campaign when you distribute emails, literature, yard signs and continue to solicit donations for the campaign. As I told you before, we're not trying to create a "war chest." We need funding for media, which is the primary objective for the next month. If you are interested in becoming a <A href="mailto:kfullbeck@gmail.com;%20info@ballardformayor.com">Ballard Captain</A>, please send a note our way. </FONT></DIV>
