The soap box derby race is for the kids in the Inner City Youth Racing League. The <SPAN class=correction id="">pre race</SPAN> festivities will start around 8 a.m. with the race beginning somewhere around 9 a.m. and ending around 4 p.m. The Derby Hill is located at 30th and <SPAN class=correction id="">Coldsprings</SPAN> Rd. if you <SPAN class=correction id="">would</SPAN> like to attend. Scott Allen will have a tent set up and you are more than welcome to invite anyone to come. It would be nice if Republicans could come and see the fun these kids have made possible by donations and
<SPAN class=correction id="">sponsorship</SPAN>. They are also learning about teamwork, work ethics, and sportsmanship. I think that this programs and others like it are having a <SPAN class=correction id="">positive</SPAN> <SPAN class=correction id="">influence</SPAN> in our community and I think we should foster and grow these type of community outreach programs.</FONT></P>
