[WayneGOP News] State Convention Delegates

As you are aware, on June 2nd our Marion County GOP delegation will be participating in the Republican State Convention.  Due to the recent announcement that Attorney General Steve Carter will not be seeking another term, we are potentially faced with a contested nomination for our Party’s candidate for this office.  A large part of our duties as Republicans this year in Indianapolis is to close the vote-gap and to deliver our county for the Governor.  As such, it is imperative that we work as closely with the Governor and his campaign people as possible.  
 
With less than four weeks until the convention, it is our goal to put forth a unified front as Marion County Republicans to work with Governor Daniels to ensure that a divisive convention fight is avoided.  Marion County is allotted 238 delegates from our 3 congressional districts.  Just over half have been elected.  If your interested please provide me your full name, address, email, phone, and some notes referencing why you are nominating them for delegate.  
 
County parties are given seven (7) days from the Primary Election to finalize their lists, so to avoid our own disenfranchisement, please provide no later then 9AM Monday May 12th.
