Policies for paying Pollworkers
If your a City, County or Township Assessor Employee you still get paid without taking benefit time under the new policy from Mayor Greg Ballard, plus you are able to keep your election day check.
So please come out and help during this
Special Election on March 11
Clerk and Judges that work a full day in a precinct will be paid $70.00.
Clerks and Judges that work in multiple precincts will be paid time and half for working multiple precincts $105.00.
Clerks and Judges that work a ½ day in a precinct will be paid $35.00.
Clerks and Judges that work a ½ day in multiple precincts will be paid $52.50.
On election day if a poll worker shows up to work and a precinct has a full board already working, the poll worker should not stay and work the poll worker should call the election day hotline and report the situation. If the poll worker decides to stay and work the poll worker will not get paid from the Marion County Election Board.
