Ellis R. "Bob" Fowler, 61, Indianapolis, passed away Monday, April 23, 2007. 
He was born July 4, 1945 in Indianapolis to Ellis Earl and Esther Ann Turner 
Fowler. Bob graduated from Scecina Memorial High School, Class of 1963 and 
served in the U.S. Marines. He owned Fowler Plumbing for 40 years and served 
on the Indianapolis Fire Department for 8 years. Bob was a member of Little 
Flower Catholic Church, Moose Lodge #17 and was an avid scuba diver. 
Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 25 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. 
at Shirley Brothers Drexel Chapel, 4565 E. 10th St., with a Mass of 
Christian Burial Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at Little Flower Catholic Church, 
4720 E. 13th St. Bob is survived by his wife, Barbara Arnold Fowler; father, 
Ellis Earl Fowler; daughters, Deborah Mitchell, husband Noble, Lori Hupp, 
husband Tony, Julie Fowler; grandchildren, Josh, Evan and Brooke Hupp, 
Zachary Mitchell, Forust, Ethan, Tuesday, Honey, Matthew and Tim, Jr.; 
brothers, William Fowler, wife Pat, Joseph Fowler, wife Brenda, Richard 
Fowler, wife Joy, and John Fowler, wife Penney; and sisters, Katherine Wood, 
Ann Collins, husband Charles, and Carol Fowler Luken, husband Bill. He was 
preceded in death by his mother, Esther Ann Fowler; sons, Robert Baxter, 
Timothy Fowler; and sister, Judith Fowler. Memorial contributions may be 
made to the American Cancer Society.
